Chocolate, Oranges and Nuts, Oh My!
Once upon a time (a very, very long time ago) when I was just a little girl, I would get walnuts, an orange and a "Chunky" bar in my Christmas stocking. Those of you reading this today might think those items are terribly boring, but way back then they were such a marvelous treat for me. And ever since, I've loved the flavors of chocolate and orange combined...throw in some walnuts...heaven.
So, considering my childhood experience with chocolate, orange and walnut, it's no surprise that today I am always seeking out silverplated items related to these things. The orange spoon, with it's various shaped bowls, has intrigued me for some time now. I've written the following Wordpress blog post about it.

Candy tongs or bonbon tongs are another item of interest for me. I've written two separate blog posts on them which you can find here:

And last but not least, the nuts! Antique silverplate nut picks and nut spoons are my passion! Although I suspect that nut picks are not often used to actually pick nuts anymore, they work wonderfully with cocktails as olive picks (or onion, cherry or whatever). I've written the following post all about nut picks and spoons:

The items shown in the Etsy treasury above are all available at my Etsy shop. Just click on any item to go there!
