Old Cottage

The first shop to favorite my Etsy shop over a year ago now was oldcottage. At the time I was just feeling my way around Etsy and wasn't really sure what it meant to have someone "favorite" my shop but I knew it was something special.

I created a treasury featuring oldcottage in an "old cottage" theme...



In response, oldcottage was inspired to create her own treasury...the first since she opened her shop in May of 2010:

Rare Blood

To celebrate the creation of the Rh Negative Etsy Team, I've created a treasury:

Rh Negative Team

Okay, call me crazy, but I thought it would be interesting to create an Rh Negative team on Etsy. That's Rh negative as in Rh negative blood. I'm Rh negative as is approximately 15% of the world's population. The other 85% has Rh positive and the Rh stands for Rhesus like in monkey. So those with Rh positive blood have a factor in their blood that can be traced back to the Rhesus monkey. But the earthly origin for Rh negative blood is unknown. Scientists have no explanation for it. It appears to me that many of these Rh negative individuals are searching for answers. I wondered if, in their search, they would find my Etsy Rh Negative team, join and communicate with other fellow Rh negative Etsians. I'm the only member of my little team right now but I hope I won't be alone for too long. http://www.etsy.com/teams/11615/rh-negative-team

The Never Ending Etsy Treasury?

I was fortunate enough to create an Etsy treasury several months ago which made it to the Front Page. After 4 months the view count was over 8700 with new views every day all this time later. Many of the items had sold and a few had expired. I wondered what would happen if I edited this treasury to replace the sold and expired and just kept it going.... What would happen? Well, I did it today and it has been very well received...
